Requirements

Explore the realm of PYTHIAN and be part of the world’s most extreme XR hard dance gathering. You can participate in the experiences via the PYTHIAN app, which is available in Steam.

To participate in a live experience, you have the option to purchase a package, which includes the PYTHIAN app and access to the live experience, or you can download the PYTHIAN app and buy access to the live experience via a separate ticket. This ticket grants you online access to the relevant event within Pythian.

The first event you can participate in is the Masters of Hardcore XR experience. If you only purchased the Pythian app without a ticket, you do have access to the terminal and the various throwback rooms.

For more info on PYTHIAN and on how to join the Masters of Hardcore live experience on the 27th of March, you can check out the FAQ.

Specifications

For the best experience we recommend a VR headset, all headsets that work with PCVR are suitable for PYTHIAN.

PYTHIAN can be used via a Windows PC or laptop. PYTHIAN has the following specifications and system requirements for a Windows PC or laptop:

Minimum
Operating System: Windows 10
Processor: Intel Core i5-4590 / AMD FX 8350 equivalent or better
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970, AMD Radeon R9 290 equivalent or better
Network: broadband internet connection
Storage: 4 GB of available space

Recommended
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060, AMD Radeon RX 480 equivalent or better Storage: 4 GB of available space.

It’s not possible to use PYTHIAN on iOS systems (Macbooks or iMacs).

There is no mobile version available because it does not provide the correct experience and therefore it is not possible to use a cardboard.

If you can stream your PC / laptop or VR headset to your television, this is possible. Pythian, however, is an interactive experience that you will not experience the same if you do not use the various possibilities that are offered via the VR headset. If you want to stream Pythian on your television, we recommend that you do this via desktop and not via a VR headset. The avatar must be controlled by someone to move around the world.
